We assess your rug’s condition, fibre type, dye stability, and any issues (like urine or insect damage) that we can see and talk to you if we have any concerns.

Dry soil removal using commercial rug dusters is the key. This step is critical and can remove kilos of dirt from your rug before washing.
3. Wash Phase

Rugs are washed using a variety fibre -safe methods, or low-moisture cleaning if delicate. We select pH-neutral, fibre-safe products for every material type and we chose depending on what your rug needs.
4. Decontamination (if required)
If your Rug is urine-affected, we take extra steps to treat it with very specific products to help break down the uric acid (urine) which in many cases will not just wash out in the normal washing process with neutral detergent.

Your rug is then placed in our dedicated dry room which has controlled airflow and humidity in a modified shipping container totally dedicated to getting your rug dried fast. This help to prevent mould, dry rot and dirt resurfacing if any is missed deep in the fibre.

All Rugs are post inspected before calling it ready and we will absolutely wash it again if we believe it can still be better for you. We will vacuum, do minor repairs if possible, and when we are happy call you to arrange delivery.

At the end of the day, when your rug comes through our doors it gets treated with genuine care and a whole lot of elbow grease. Whether it’s thick with Riverina red dirt, carrying years of family traffic, or has pet accidents—we’re not satisfied until it’s truly clean.
Our process isn’t rushed or cookie-cutter. We wash by eye, by hand, and by heart—backed by the right tools and years of know-how. If it needs an extra clean, we do it. If it needs a little repair and we can do it, we’ll tidy it up. Because when your rug leaves our workshop, it carries our name with it—and that means something to us.
